[WEATHER ALERT]: Asynchronous Remote Learning Day on Monday, Feb. 2

RCHS will hold an asynchronous remote learning day on Mon, Feb. 2 due to winter weather. Students will complete schoolwork at home but will not meet with their individual classes. In order to be marked present for the day, students will need to fill out the Google attendance form they will receive Monday morning. The form must be filled out by 1:00 pm.

Teachers will communicate with students about expectations for assignments for tomorrow through email and/or their classroom learning management system. If students have questions, they should contact their teachers.

For weather-related updates, we will communicate with families through email, text messages, WRAL, and our website.

Summer Assignments

Students are reminded that some classes, particularly AP (Advanced Placement) classes, have summer assignments.

All students will receive their class schedules with the names of their teachers in the summer packet. Packets will be delivered in July.

AP German (all other German students who wish to keep their German vocabulary alive)
- Visit Deutsche Welle every few days, read a current article (Top-Thema), listen to the news (Langsam gesprochene Nachrichten), or watch a short documentary (Video-Thema).
- German 3 and 4 - look for levels B1 and B2.
- German 1 and 2 - look for levels A1 and A2.
- There are also some good shows German shows on Netflix.
