Board Members

Rob Fenoglio is a proud alumnus of Raleigh Charter, having graduated in the class of 2003. While at RCHS, he traveled all over the southeastern U.S. on the rowing team and was a member of the school's first Brain Game championship trio. After earning his BA in Economics and English at UNC Chapel Hill, Rob served in the U.S. Army for a decade and now works as a project manager in the medical device industry. He previously served on the school's finance committee.

 

Catherine Finch is the parent of two sons who graduated from RCHS in the Class of 2022 and the Class of 2023.  Catherine received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Wake Forest University and spent several years working in the pharmaceutical industry before “retiring” to stay home with her children. She enjoys volunteering for school and church organizations and has been serving on the Development Committee at RCHS for a few years. Catherine joined the RCHS Board of Directors in 2023. Catherine currently serves as the secretary of the Board of Directors.

 

Alexandra Flynn is a parent of two students at RCHS (classes of 2027 and 2029).  Alex received her B.A. from Wake Forest University and worked in fundraising for several years following graduation.  She currently serves on the RCHS Development Committee and as co-president of Phoenix Parents, the parent organization at Raleigh Charter.

 

Jonathan Green is the parent of a two RCHS graduates from the classes of 2020 and 2024. He earned a BS in Psychology from UNC at Chapel Hill, his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center. He has been a hospitalist at UNC Rex Healthcare since 2004 and has served in leadership roles including Chair of the Department of Medicine and President of Medical Staff. Jon currently serves as the treasurer of the Board of Directors.

 

Sandra Headen is the parent of a 2004 alumna of RCHS. As a parent volunteer, she served on the first Diversity Committee and upon her return to the school, now serves on the Board of Directors and the current Diversity Committee. She is a Social and Community Psychologist, retired from the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Throughout her career, she conducted research projects and community interventions aimed at reducing morbidity and mortality from cancer-related illnesses. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from historically Black Bennett College in Greensboro, N.C. and her Masters and PhD degrees from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. In her second career, she writes historical fiction for middle grade and young adult readers. She joined the RCHS Board of Directors in August 2020.

 

Lisa Huddleston serves on the Board as the School Principal. She has worked at the school since 2001 and has served at various times in the roles of the Community Liaison, a mathematics teacher, and an Academic Dean. Lisa received the BS in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and the Master's of School Administration from North Carolina State University.

Alex Karsten is a graduate of the RCHS class of 2010.

Jameson Marks is a proud graduate of the RCHS class of 2003. After graduating from Appalachian State, Jameson received his Juris Doctor degree from Elon University School of Law.  Jameson began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting criminal cases in juvenile, district, and superior courts.  Jameson then shifted his public service to judicial and governmental ethics, first as counsel to the North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission, and currently as counsel to the State Ethics Commission where he oversees complaints and investigations into alleged violations of the State Government Ethics Act and Lobbying Law.  Upon returning to the area after law school, Jameson reconnected with Raleigh Charter as a judge during the annual We the People competition before joining the Board of Directors in 2016. Jameson currently serves as the chair of the Board of Directors.

Amy Marschall was a member of the faculty of RCHS from 1999-2021 and again for the spring semester in 2024. She taught English and German and then served as Director of Student Support. She earned a BA in Chemistry from Duke University and an MA and PhD in German Literature from The Johns Hopkins University. She has two sons who graduated from RCHS in 2007 and 2011. 

 

Jessica McDonald is a parent of two graduates from the classes of 2020 and 2022. She has previously served as co-president of Phoenix Parents, the parent organization at Raleigh Charter. Jessica currently serves as the vice chair of the Board of Directors.​​​

Neill Robson considers his four years studying at Raleigh Charter one the most formative seasons of his life. As a student, he vacillated between recreational mathematics and theatrical performance, and cherished the community that empowered students to pursue diverse interests. After graduating from Raleigh Charter in 2015, Neill went on to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science at NC State University, and works as a software engineer in the Raleigh area. Outside of work, in addition to serving on the school board, Neill can be found teaching at his church, biking on local greenways, or organizing his growing board game collection.

 

Dwight Thompson is a parent of RCHS students. He works in a software company as an attorney specializing in intellectual property matters. He earned his BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from NC State University. He earned his MS and Ph.D. from Stanford University in Electrical Engineering, and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. He has worked as an integrated circuit design engineer for a semiconductor company and as an attorney for a law firm in Washington D.C. and San Diego. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Berean Community Center in Raleigh and on the Finance Committee of RCHS.

Hannah Page is the faculty representative to the Board. She holds a BA in Anthropology from Millsaps College and a MAT in History Education from Duke University, as well as a Master's degree in Public Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia. Hannah previously served as the school's community liaison. She teaches history. When not at school, she is most often at some stage in the sourdough bread baking process.
