[WEATHER ALERT]: Full School Days on Thurs. & Fri.
We will convert the mini ex days scheduled for this Thursday, January 29 and Friday, January 30 into regular-schedule days. School will be held from 9:00 am until 2:40 pm on both of these days, and seventh-period health class will meet both days at the regular time.

Please be aware that Raleigh Charter makes decisions about closings and schedule changes independently of other schools and systems. Conditions may vary throughout our attendance area, and safety should be everyone’s first priority. Even when Raleigh Charter is open, please always make the best decision about attendance for students based on the conditions near your home. Students will not be penalized for being absent because of safety concerns. If your student is going to miss school for any reason (including weather concerns), please be sure to email absences@raleighcharterhs.org.
For weather-related updates, we will communicate with families through email, text messages, WRAL, and our website.

the Physical Exam form (which a physician must fill out)
-
a Concussion Awareness form (must be signed by a parent and the student athlete)
-
a Transportation Release Waiver (Must be completed for permission to drive/ride with students)

Please scan or photograph each page of your completed participation packet and email it to athleticforms@raleighcharterhs.org prior to the first day of tryouts.

Any student-athlete experiencing signs and symptoms consistent with a concussion will be immediately
removed from play or practice. They will not be returned to play or practice on the same day. To return to play or practice, they will need written clearance from a medical professional trained in concussion management. If a student athlete is diagnosed with a concussion, they must follow the NCHSAA Concussion Return to Play Protocol and have the forms completed and signed by a Physician. The forms should then be turned in to the athletic director.
