Graduation Ceremony

The RCHS Class of 2027 Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2027 at 4:00 pm. The rehearsal and ceremony will be held at Meymandi Concert Hall, part of the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are not required and graduates are welcome to bring as many loved ones as they like. 

Graduates and junior marshals will be required to attend a rehearsal at Meymandi on the morning of graduation. Seniors are expected to be back at Meymandi by 3:30 pm. 

At Raleigh Charter, our seniors vote for their keynote speaker. Additionally, all seniors have the opportunity to audition to speak or give a musical performance at graduation. Seniors will receive a form via email before Spring Break to submit their keynote nominations and to sign up to audition.

Caps & Gowns

It is time to order caps & gowns! When you order on the Josten's website, you'll see many different products and packages. You are welcome to purchase extra items but the only required items are the cap, tassel, and gown. The cap and gown unit (which includes the tassel) is $40 + tax. There is no shipping charge for orders under $75 that are shipped to the school. You do not need to select the “keepsake tassel” unless you want a second tassel. Here is a direct link to the cap, tassel, and gown unit. Caps and gowns must be ordered through the Jostens website - RCHS is not accepting payment for caps and gowns. 

 

The deadline to place your order at this price is Wednesday, September 30. If you order after this date, prices are subject to increase. Cap & Gown and Graduation Announcement Products will be delivered to your Senior at school with the rest of their class in the spring. If you choose to order any senior apparel items, they will ship to you at home in approx. 2 weeks of placing your order.

Seniors are welcome to wear the caps & gowns of older siblings or friends who graduated from RCHS in previous years. The only item that is different from year to year is the tassel. If you need to order part of this package (only a tassel, for example), please call the Jostens Raleigh office at 919-789-8500.

Yearbook

Seniors have the opportunity to submit their own portrait for inclusion in the yearbook. Additionally, senior parents may choose to purchase an ad to honor their graduating senior. Information on both of these opportunities will be shared later this semester.
