[WEATHER ALERT]: Full School Days on Thurs. & Fri.
​We will convert the mini ex days scheduled for this Thursday, January 29 and Friday, January 30 into regular-schedule days. School will be held from 9:00 am until 2:40 pm on both of these days, and seventh-period health class will meet both days at the regular time.

Please be aware that Raleigh Charter makes decisions about closings and schedule changes independently of other schools and systems. Conditions may vary throughout our attendance area, and safety should be everyone’s first priority. Even when Raleigh Charter is open, please always make the best decision about attendance for students based on the conditions near your home. Students will not be penalized for being absent because of safety concerns. If your student is going to miss school for any reason (including weather concerns), please be sure to email absences@raleighcharterhs.org.
For weather-related updates, we will communicate with families through email, text messages, WRAL, and our website.

RCHS is currently accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year! The application will be open from January 12 through February 27, 2026, and the admissions lottery will be held on March 18. We held an Open House for Prospective Families on January 28. If your student is admitted in our lottery, you will be invited to attend an Admitted Students Open House in April. Our new online store features everything from T-shirts to pajama pants to tote bags. You can even sport swag for your favorite RCHS athletics team with a large selection of items for each sport. Orders are processed “on-demand” which means the store is always open! You can choose to have your order shipped directly to your home for a fee or to school for free.
