9th Grade Music Students 2010-2011
Congratulations on your acceptance into RCHS. I look forward to meeting you and your parents on Tuesday, April 13th at our Freshman Open House. I have included a link to the information page on the music courses at Raleigh Charter. Click here for access to this information. Also, here are the letters that are included in your registration packet just in case you misplaced them. Please fill out the tear-off at the bottom of the letter and send it in to me at RCHS. Remember not to call the office, I will be contacting you with your audition date.

Central District All-District Clinic
Congratulations to the following RCHS Concert Band members who auditioned for and made the Central District All-District Bands:

Choral Spring Concert Date Changed!
Due to conflicts in the Peace College calendar, the Spring Choral Concert will now be on Wednesday, April 21st at 7:30 pm. All Choral students will rehearse at Peace College on Wednesday, April 21 from 9am to 12pm. Parent Volunteers: Walking Chaperones will need to change to April 21st; party helpers will need to change to Thursday, April 22.

Sightreading is an important skill that should be practiced each day by all musicians. The link that I have listed is an excellent source for sightreading for both instrumentalists and singers.
