Welcome to the Home of Raleigh Charter Crew

Raleigh Charter Crew was established in 1999 as the crew team of Raleigh Charter High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Raleigh Charter High School is an award-winning, independent public school chartered by the State Board of Education of North Carolina. Crew is a co-educational varsity sport, and we compete across the Southeast during both the spring and fall rowing seasons. We practice at Lake Wheeler where we have our oarhouse and store our boats and equipment. Depending on the season, we have anywhere from 35 to 60 rowers on the team.

We are enthusiastically supported by the Raleigh Charter Crew Boosters, a group of involved parents that manage all of the logistics and support required for us to travel to and from the regatta sites, purchase and maintain our equipment, and manage team communications ... not to mention cheering us on from the shoreline.
