Raleigh Charter High School

Pilot Mill is bordered by Capital Expressway, the Mordecai neighborhood, Capital Park, and the Village at Pilot Mill, behind Peace College. To get there, take Halifax Street north from Peace Street. The street ends at the mill. Turn right, then left into the second mill entrance, which is Haynes Street. Parking is located inside the campus of Pilot Mill on the corner of Cedar and Haynes Streets. Visitors are asked to park along Haynes street next to the school, and to refrain from parking in the other lots adjacent to the school campus.

Parking for Parent Volunteers

When volunteering or attending a meeting at RCHS, parents are encouraged to park on Haynes St. alongside the school building or on Blount St. Vehicles must be moved from Haynes St. at dismissal time to keep the carpool lane moving.

· Haynes Street is open to two-way traffic. There are several other businesses located in the building in addition to the school so during the day vehicles enter and exit the parking lot at the end of Haynes St.

· To keep two-way traffic flowing, please drive to the end of Haynes Street to turn around and then park facing south alongside the school building.

· Do not park on Haynes Street near the Student Parking Lot since that area becomes congested during carpool hours.
